Child Safety Standards

Effective date: July 28, 2026
Applies to: Choicelify website, mobile applications, and related services (“Choicelify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”)

Child safety contact: child-safety@choicelify.com

Choicelify is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This Child Safety Standards document describes our zero-tolerance policy, how users can report concerns, and how we respond—including cooperation with authorities when required by law.

These standards supplement our Community Guidelines, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose and scope

This document explains:

  • What content and conduct Choicelify prohibits related to child safety
  • How to report suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or CSAE
  • What happens after a report is submitted
  • How to contact us about child safety matters
  • How we work with law enforcement and child protection organizations

These standards apply to all users, visitors, and content on Choicelify, including polls, comments, posts, profiles, media, and any other user-generated content.

2. Age requirements

Choicelify is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Choicelify.

We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13. If we learn that a user under 13 has an account, we will take appropriate action, which may include account closure.

Regardless of the user’s age, any content that sexualizes, exploits, or abuses a minor (anyone under 18) is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a child safety violation.

3. Definitions

For clarity in this policy (without graphic description):

| Term | Meaning | |------|---------| | Minor | Any person under 18 years of age | | CSAM | Child sexual abuse material — visual depictions or other material involving the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a minor | | CSAE | Child sexual abuse and exploitation — broader conduct that includes CSAM, grooming, solicitation, trafficking, and other exploitation of minors | | Grooming | Building trust or emotional connection with a minor to facilitate sexual abuse or exploitation |

4. Zero-tolerance prohibition

Choicelify strictly prohibits the following, including attempts, requests, offers, or links related to them:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE)
  • Sexualization of minors in any form (text, images, video, audio, polls, or other media)
  • Grooming, solicitation, or sexual contact involving minors
  • Sharing, requesting, trading, hosting, or linking to CSAM or CSAE content
  • Using Choicelify to arrange, facilitate, or promote the sexual exploitation of minors
  • Creating or circulating content that depicts, describes, or implies sexual activity involving a minor

There is no artistic, educational, satirical, or “private chat” exception for CSAM/CSAE on Choicelify.

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate removal or hiding of content
  • Account suspension or permanent termination
  • Preservation of evidence for investigation
  • Reporting to the competent child-protection and law-enforcement authorities, and to international child-safety hotlines (including INHOPE and NCMEC's CyberTipline), as required or appropriate under applicable law

5. How to report

If you see or suspect CSAM or CSAE on Choicelify, report it as soon as possible.

In the Choicelify app or website

  1. Open the poll, comment, post, or profile you want to report
  2. Tap or click the menu ()
  3. Choose Report
  4. Select Child sexual abuse / exploitation material (CSAM)
  5. Confirm when prompted, add optional details, and submit

You may report:

  • Polls
  • Comments
  • Posts (where available)
  • User profiles / accounts

Outside the in-app flow

Email: child-safety@choicelify.com

You may also use our Contact page and select a child safety subject.

Do not send CSAM files or graphic images to this address. Describe the location of the content on Choicelify (for example, a link, poll, or username) so our team can find and review it securely.

Good-faith reporting

Good-faith reports help keep Choicelify safe and are protected. Reports made in bad faith (for example, knowingly false CSAM reports to harass another user) may result in account action.

6. What happens after you report

When a CSAM / child safety report is submitted, Choicelify takes the matter seriously. Our response typically includes:

  1. Priority handling — CSAM reports are treated as critical and reviewed ahead of ordinary moderation queues
  2. Immediate content action — Reported content may be hidden or taken down when applicable, including automated protective actions on CSAM reports
  3. Account action — We may suspend or restrict the reported account pending review
  4. Evidence preservation — We preserve information reasonably needed for investigation and lawful reporting (for example, report identifiers, target identifiers, timestamps, and related metadata). We do not prematurely destroy evidence needed for a child safety case
  5. Human review — Moderators review the case and take further action as needed
  6. Authority escalation — Confirmed or strongly suspected CSAM/CSAE is escalated to the competent national authorities and to international child-safety hotlines (INHOPE, NCMEC CyberTipline), as appropriate for the jurisdiction and applicable law

We may not be able to provide case-by-case updates to reporters when disclosure would interfere with an investigation, privacy, or legal obligations.

7. Enforcement and prevention

Choicelify maintains processes and product features intended to reduce child safety risk, including:

  • Clear prohibition of CSAM/CSAE in our policies and Community Guidelines
  • In-app reporting with a dedicated CSAM report type and confirmation step
  • Priority moderation for child safety reports
  • Content removal / account restriction for violating material and accounts
  • Evidence preservation for lawful reporting
  • Manual escalation to child protection organizations and law enforcement when required

We continuously improve these measures. No system can prevent all harmful content, and we rely in part on community reporting.

8. Cooperation with authorities

Choicelify cooperates with lawful requests from child protection organizations and law enforcement consistent with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Where required or appropriate, we report confirmed or strongly suspected CSAM to:

  • The competent national authorities in our jurisdiction of operation, including child-protection and law-enforcement authorities
  • International child-safety hotlines and clearinghouses, including INHOPE and the NCMEC CyberTipline, which forward reports to the appropriate authorities worldwide

Users who believe a child is in immediate danger should contact local emergency services first, then report the content on Choicelify.

9. Child safety contact

| Channel | Details | |---------|---------| | Email | child-safety@choicelify.com | | In-app / web | Report flow via ⋯ → Report → CSAM | | Contact form | Contact (child safety subject) | | Standards page | https://choicelify.com/legal/child-safety |

This contact is monitored for child safety concerns. For general support unrelated to child safety, use our standard support channels.

If there is a conflict between this document and another policy on a child safety matter, the stricter child safety rule applies.

11. Updates

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a new version is published. These standards describe our practices and prohibitions; where they impose binding obligations on users, those obligations are also set out in our Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines.
